About the Opportunity:
As the Plant Manager, you will oversee plant operations, ensuring compliance, quality, and cost efficiency. You will drive operational excellence, implementing innovative solutions to optimise processes and support business growth. You will report to senior management out of country and you will play a key role in shaping the success of the new Health Care Company.
Duties:
• Oversee all aspects of plant operations, including EHS, Compliance, Quality, Service, Cost, and employee relations.
• Build and develop a quality-focused culture, ensuring 100% compliance with all relevant standards and regulations
• Collaborate with business leaders to improve asset utilisation and support growth while reducing costs.
• Identify and implement technologies and solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
• Lead the implementation of a new ERP system to streamline operations and enhance data-driven decision-making.
• Develop and mentor plant personnel, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and employee morale.
Skills and Experience:
• Demonstrated experience working in a Plant Management role
• Experience in the Pharmaceutical or Medical Device Industry preferred
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve goals.
• Strong operational and financial acumen, with the ability to manage plant P&L and drive cost reduction initiatives effectively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to drive change and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.
• Experience leading new product transfers (NPI) and implementing ERP systems would be advantageous.
