You will put your skills and experience to good use supporting the Minister, Secretary and senior executive working on decarbonisation, First Nations outcomes, gender equality and support for local industry and resilience to natural disasters
A large city based Government Department is seeking APS6 and EL1's to assist with the development of a suite of reforms that will articulate the Australian Government's infrastructure priorities.
You will have the opportunity and autonomy to collaborate and work across government involved in the process of developing and delivering a broad reform agenda which will shift the Government's approach to land transport infrastructure investment.
To be shortlisted for interview, you will need to have demonstrated skills and experience in one or more of the below work streams:
- Governance
- Program Management
- Policy
Responsibilities will include:
- Cabinet submissions, new policy proposals and central agency engagement
- Information management related to negotiations
- Logistics support including scheduling meetings and co-ordinating venues
- Communication including triaging inquiries
- Coordination with stakeholders, including state and territory officials and policy owners
- BASELINE security clearance is essential
