The Opportunity:
This is a full-time permanent opportunity.
This position is within the Climate Risk and Resilience branch and supports the development of strategic policy aligned with the State Government's objectives and priorities and the Department's strategic plan.
The role contributes to the development of complex climate change adaptation policy initiatives across government. The position participates in the work of various groups including intergovernmental and interdepartmental committees and taskforces. The Policy Officer liaises and builds rapport with public and private sector stakeholders to promote climate change adaptation policy development and implementation matters.
