Job Pathways (“JP”) is a leading Aboriginal controlled ‘for purpose’ community development organisation. Our programs aspire to improve lives and transform communities through the delivery of the Commonwealth Government Community Development Program, NDIS Service and a Recycling social enterprise. We are looking to fill a core role to assist our CDP team in Kununurra to excel in service delivery.
The primary purpose of the Post Placement Support Officer role is to hold responsibility for ensuring job seekers remain in employment to secure an outcome for them and their employer, and therefore enabling sustainable workforces.
This is, in part, achieved through holding responsibility for maintaining retention risk strategies to identify and address support needs for both employers and job seekers.
Crucial to the role is the ability to:
• Develop strong relationships and rapport with employers, job seekers and their families.
• Use effective active listening and questioning techniques to identify goals, strengths and obstacles which may impact on placement sustainability.
• Maintain an unwavering belief in the ability of local job seekers to exceed the requirements of identified roles.
Requirements
- National Police Certificate
- C Class Driver’s License
