Bp is an Australian market leader in medical software, employing over 250 staff across four office locations in Australia and New Zealand. We’re searching for a Brisbane-based Account Manager to join our Account Management Team, an extension of our Customer Success Group.
Role Requirements:
We’re on the lookout for a dynamic Account Manager to join our team. In this role, you’ll primarily focus on nurturing and strengthening our key customer relationships and supporting our account management activities, undertaking business development initiatives, and coordinating complex sales and deployment functions. As an Account Manager you’ll ensure the satisfaction and loyalty of our existing customer base, collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders to address customer needs effectively and assisting the Account Management Stream Manager and team to reach organisational strategic goals.
Our ideal candidate will have a solid background in B2B sales, customer service or account management with a knack for building lasting relationships. While experience in the health/software industry is advantageous, it is not essential for success in this role. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences, driven by results, and exhibits a high level of professionalism and business savvy.

Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing clients
- Managing a portfolio of key account managed customers
- Aligning Best Practice Software products with customer requirements
- Proactive liaison with account managed customers via phone, email, and face-to-face opportunities
- Effective liaison with internal business teams
- Travelling locally and interstate to visit account managed customers and to attend conferences
- Identifying and responding to tenders and critical sales enquiries
- Contract management and invoice generation
- Project and change management
To succeed in this role, you’ll have:
- Proven experience as an Account Manager, or in a similar B2B sales/customer success role
- Effective problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
- A customer focused mindset
- Excellent and high-level presentation skills and ability to communicate with influence, both orally and in written form
- Strong business acumen
- Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; knowledge of CRM software (MS Dynamics 365) is a plus
- The ability to travel both locally and interstate when required
- The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Enthusiasm and passion for your role
- A strong work ethic and a “can do” attitude
- Software &/or Medical/Health Industry experience would be advantageous
