The Shire of Esperance is seeking an individual to provide support and assistance to the Ranger team.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting in the maintenance, cleaning and operation of the dog and cat pound
- Assisting in the animal re-homimg program
- Supporting Rangers when needed and directed
This position is a permanent part-time position.
About You
To succeed and thrive in this position you must have:
- Relevant experience or ability to develop techniques in handling animals
- Ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment
- Sound time management and organisation skills
Benefits
Hourly rate: $28.04 per hour.
Permanent staff are entitled to:
- 5 weeks annual leave per year (pro-rata)
- Minimum of 11% superannuation employer contribution
