Bupa Dental Hurstville is a family-friendly dental clinic fitted with modern equipment and the latest dental technology. The clinic offers a wide range of dental treatments including general check-ups, dental implants, crowns and bridges and tooth extractions, to name a few. We're easy to find on Macmahon Street within close proximity to public transport and complimentary car parking nearby; we're also a 7 minute walk to the Westfields near by! Hours of the role are from 8am - 5pm and the week is an easy 4 and half day roster with flexibility to choose how you want to fulfil your hours!

The Heart of the role:
•Coaching, leading & developing a high performing practice team in a positive environment for both staff and patients
•Assist with overall financial performance of the practice in line with the approved budget
•Maintain sterilisation, infection control standards and stock control
•Patient management; greeting and welcoming patients, answering all phone enquiries, making & confirming appointments; checking, processing & managing customer accounts
•General administration including processing payments using EFTPOS & HiCaps
•Proactively marketing your practice to drive patient numbers
•Effectively manage the recruitment & selection for all practice staff
What you'll bring:
•Previous dental experience desirable but we also welcome applications from successful managers from other industries
•Prior business and people management experience essential
•Proven track record of strong organisational skills, administrative and time management
•Exceptional communication, interpersonal, customer service skills and strong business acumen
•Understanding how to generate income and control costs
•Able to face into difficult conversations & deal promptly with issues when they arise
•Comfortable conversing with people from all walks of life, including dentists, patients, and your practice team
•Experienced in comprehending and managing the P&L for the practice
•Exceptional communication, interpersonal, customer service skills and strong business acumen
