Located on the esteemed, exciting and vibrant St Vincent’s campus in Darlinghurst, you will be managing the day-to-day operational logistics. The directors are excited to offer their Practice Manager autonomy with the right amount of collaboration to ensure the practice is operating efficiently and reaches growth potential.
About the role …
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the practice, including patient scheduling, appointment management, and clinic workflow.
- Ensure efficient use of resources, such as staff, equipment, and facilities, to optimise patient care delivery.
- Implement and enforce policies and procedures to maintain compliance with regulatory standards and enhance operational efficiency.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, addressing inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Coordinate patient appointments, consultations, and follow-up care to ensure seamless experiences and continuity of care.
- Monitor patient satisfaction metrics and implement strategies to enhance patient experience.
- Oversee billing, coding, and insurance-related activities to optimise reimbursement and minimise denials.
- Implement quality assurance programs and clinical protocols to uphold clinical excellence and patient safety.
About you …
- Vast experience in healthcare management, preferably in a specialist or surgical practice setting.
- Gentu or Genie system exposure advantageous but by no means a deal breaker!
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage patients, resources, and budgets effectively.
- Proficiency in healthcare operations, and billing.
- Knowledge of medical/surgical terminology and procedures.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and service excellence.
- Leadership of practice staff and ability to foster development to drive culture and staff satisfaction.
