Full-Time Practice Manager

Are you an experienced Practice Manager or Vet Nurse with some Practice Management experience looking for a genuinely unique position? Working alongside a team of highly skilled and driven professionals in a busy environment, you will be supporting an exclusive veterinary care team that provides the best care available for every non-traditional species, from parrots to turtles, guinea pigs to lizards!

• Salary up to $90k plus super, depending on experience

About you

• You have strong, proven practice management and leadership experience 
• You may have veterinary industry experience already – or be someone who would love to bring their high-end skills to this environment
• People are drawn to you for your warm, engaging communication style – even when conversations are tough
• You are happy to roll up your sleeves and help support the team when required on the floor/reception
• You are a motivator, someone people are drawn to and trust – always leading by example to harness the success, growth, and development of others
• You are a great listener with the ability to collaborate, cooperate and compromise
• You have experience in coaching and training – particularly in leadership, development, and team building
• You are IT savvy
• You are resilient and think on your feet with a solutions-based focus
• You love that no two days will be the same and really are a jack of all trades
• Tasks include but are not limited to undertaking compliance and business development
• You may have some HR experience – however, we can provide further training and support in this area if required
• You have strong financial acumen with the proven ability to budget, analyse and present information to the Practice Principal
• You love ensuring your team is happy and engaged 
• You have a great sense of humour – to help keep up the team spirit on the days when things are tough
• You are motivated, focused, passionate and assertive – but know when to ask for help
