Practice Manager
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Practice Manager to work as part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team. The practice is located at Macquarie University Hospital.
The primary purpose of this role is to effectively manage the overall operations of the specialty practice including the management of administrative and nursing staff.
We are seeking a hard working, well organised, and highly motivated individual who welcomes new challenges. The successful candidate needs to be focused on patient experience and have strong administrative and organisational skills.
The successful candidate will be required to work Monday to Friday on a full-time basis.
The Practice Manager key responsibilities include:
- Manage and supervise practice staff
- Implement and oversee all operational processes of the practice
- Manage and participate in day-to-day administration processes and procedures
- Market and promote the medical practice and specialists through different medias
- Liaise with external departments including pathology, specialists, theatre, health funds, Medicare and DVA where appropriate
- Delegate tasks to staff based on skills, experience and work demands
- Develop strategies to improve and increase workflow
- Improve practice efficiency including the utilisation of software such as genie functionality, reviewing training and reporting

Experience
The preferred candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience as a Practice Manager and strong skills in the use of Genie software.
