Form of work We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Tweed Mall Medical Centre in Tweed Heads.
The Practice Manager will report to a supportive Area Manager and work alongside a team of dedicated and skilled Practice Managers. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient operation, providing exceptional care to our valued patients, and maintaining a positive working environment.
Responsibilities:
Manage and supervise staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
Manage rosters and timesheets, including shift reallocation and leave planning.
Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient workflow and compliance with regulations.
Monitor and manage financial performance, including budgeting, billing, and collections.
Maintain a high level of customer service by addressing patient concerns and resolving issues.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure quality patient care and effective communication.
Oversee facilities management, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a pristine presentation.
Lead accreditation compliance and drive process improvement initiatives.
Create a positive team environment, valuing contributions and leading by example.
Selection Criteria:
Minimum 1 years’ experience as a Practice Manager in a medical setting
Strong leadership and management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Best Practice
Ability to inspire, empower, and create a positive team environment
