Amidst an era of flourishing growth, an exciting opportunity has emerged for a seasoned Practice Manager. This pivotal position is instrumental in spearheading the non-clinical facets of the practice, embodying our commitment to excellence, efficiency, and an unwavering culture of care.
Role Overview:
As the Practice Manager, you will orchestrate the smooth operation of all non-clinical aspects of the practice. This role demands a hands-on approach to ensuring operational efficiency, acting as the primary contact for administrative concerns, and enhancing patient and client experiences through exemplary leadership and strategic oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and Communication: Coordinate operations, manage stakeholder communications, maintain compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Financial Management: Manage patient accounts, financial reporting, budgeting, and payroll in coordination with external advisors.
- Human Resources and Teamwork: Lead the administration team, manage staffing matters, and oversee professional development.
- IT and Systems: Implement and monitor administrative systems, ensuring data security and system efficiency.
- Marketing, Sales, and Promotion: Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote practice services.
- Patient Care and Services: Maintain high standards of patient care and service, managing patient complaints and ensuring a consistent patient experience.
- Environment and Infrastructure: Ensure the practice environment is professional and well-maintained.
- Risk Management and Quality Improvement: Promote a safe workplace and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications, Experience, and Competencies:
- Education and Experience:
5+ years in a similar role, preferably in a private medical practice. Experience in a specialist setting and relevant business qualifications are desirable. - Competencies: Exceptional communication skills, patient-focused approach, strong IT skills, excellent organisational skills, adaptability, and a commitment to professional development.
- Managerial Competencies: Experience in private health practice management, with a preference for those familiar with vascular or interventional services. Strategic, marketing, HR, IT, finance, patient services, and operations management skills are crucial.
Additional Requirements:
- Availability for occasional Saturday coverage.
- Primary location in Sydney with at least one day per week in Parramatta, potentially increasing to two days.
- CRM software experience is an advantage.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, adept at change management and driving teams towards achieving organisational goals and KPIs.
- A proactive attitude towards practice development and growth.
