About The Role
The Medical/Administrative Secretary is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Clinic and all administrative functions to support clinicians: Psychologist, Speech Pathologist, Occupational Therapist, Counsellors, Exercise Physiologist and Behavioural Therapist.
There are currently multiple positions available including a full-time & part time role in Hamilton and part time role in Rutherford.
Positions are for mature persons who wants a successful career in administration and/or Allied Health student who wishes to gain valuable experience in the industry whilst studying.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with excellent interpersonal skills
- Manage client inquiries with professionalism
- Manage appointments effectively
- Assist clinicians in maintaining their schedules for optimal efficiency
- Process payments and manage billing tasks accurately
- Manage communications and correspondence with external stakeholders
- Ensure accuracy with all correspondence
- Perform general administrative tasks
- Collaborate with administration team
- Be able to work independently, have initiative, and be able to solve problems and priorities tasks to meet deadlines
- Have medical administration experience and/or accounts and /or human resources
- Ideally have some understanding of NDIS, Disability and Paediatrics
- Have excellent time management skills
- Be able to adjust to different clinic settings and support clinicians
