Hurstville Highpoint Medical Centre is a busy and modern family medical practice open seven days a week for appointments and walk-in consultations. There are Australian-qualified General Practitioners (GPs), allied health professionals, hearing test, pathology services and ultrasound services at the center.
Free secure parking is available for both staff and patients. The center is near the bus stops and just a few minutes' walk from the Hurstville train station.
The Centre is looking for an enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join our fantastic team. All nurse graduates are invited to apply. Full training will be provided by experienced Registered Nurses and experienced supervisor GP.
About the role
Duties will include:
- Triage
- Immunizations and Healthy Kids Checks
- Chronic disease management
- Health assessments
- Patient recalls and diabetes register
- Clinical testing procedures (ECG, Spirometry, BSL)
- Cold chain vaccine management
- General Practice support
- Ordering stock and vaccines
Essential:
- To be part of our great team and grow together
- Can-Do Attitude & keen to learn
- English and Mandarin speaking
Desirable:
- General practice experience
- Immunizer Certificate
- Cervical Screening experiences
- Cantonese speaking
Hours:
Thursdays and Fridays 9 am to 5 pm (including an hour lunch break) Hours may be varied depending on the business needs.
Remuneration: The rate will be determined based on skills and experiences.
The suitable candidate will start working/training immediately.
