We are looking for a vibrant nurse to join our friendly nursing team Full time, part time and casual positions available. We are open Monday to Friday and closed on Weekends and Public holidays.
Applicants must be efficient, hardworking, reliable and committed to providing exceptional care to all patients.
Previous experience in GP nursing desirable - but not essential as training will be provided in the following areas:
- Childhood immunisations
- Travel vaccines
- Flu vaccine and Covid-19 vaccine program
- Assisting with procedures
- Emergency care
- Cold chain management
- Stock control
- ECG/Spirometry
- Chaperone skills
- Maintaining treatment room to accreditation standards
- Wound Management
- Care plans
- Health assessments
- Assisting in Procedures
And many other tasks involved in general practice nursing.
Skills and Experience
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Excellent communication/ Interpersonal skills
- Current AHPRA Registration
- High functioning autonomy
- Best Practice experience desirable
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Understanding of Chronic Disease Management Plans, Diabetes and Asthma Cycle of Care and other Medicare incentive assessments desirable
