As we continue to expand our reach and influence in the industry, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Pre-Contracts Manager. This is a leadership role within our sales team, responsible for leading a team of professionals responsible for developing market competitive, profitable proposals and ensuring seamless collaboration across various departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead bid/tender processes, ensuring alignment with company procedures and standards.
Provide leadership and management to the Proposals Team, ensuring frontline sales staff are supported effectively.
Manage the Proposals Team budget, optimize resource efficiency, and mentor team members for performance and professional development.
Interface closely with Regional Sales Managers, Business Development Managers, and other stakeholders to identify and convert new project opportunities.
Consult with downstream departments to develop project execution methodologies and work-breakdown structures for tenders.
Support frontline sales activities by providing technical solutions, budgets, and negotiation strategies.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of innovation within the organization.
Champion a strong QHSE culture and ensure compliance with quality procedures and regulations.
Essential Position Requirements:
Bachelor of Engineering (Civil, Chemical, or Mechanical) or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of experience in pre-contracts management roles.
Experience in project delivery and leading estimating teams for tenders.
Demonstrated leadership and communication skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation abilities.
Willingness to travel as required.
Experience leading and developing staff.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
