As a Principal Assurance Programs Coordinator, you will work in an advisory capacity to manage and monitor our Safety Management System (SMS) and our quality management system for the Engineering Maintenance team at QantasLink. In this role, you will mentor and coach operational leaders, providing regulatory advice to our people and broader management team. This role plays a key part in ensuring that we continue to deliver a proactive safety culture across the Qantas Group.
What you'll bring to the role:
- 5+ years experience within a Continuing Airworthiness Management and/or Aircraft Maintenance Organisation
- Extensive knowledge in CASA regulations Part 145, 42 and 66
- Sound knowledge of the Aviation Regulatory Framework is essential
- Understanding and knowledge of Quality & Risk management standards and principles
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently under pressure and to meet deadlines.
- Ability to communicate effectively with, and influence, all levels of staff and management both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to build effective relationships and partner with operational areas
- Demonstrated ability to analyse and evaluate data methodically and efficiently and plan strategies to mitigate risk.
- High analytical and investigative skills with the ability to prioritise and meet aggressive deadlines.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
