In this role, you will:
If successful, you will provide expert advice to senior managers and other stakeholders on Social Media strategies, contemporary content marketing and other aspects of communication. You will work with a range of stakeholders to plan, monitor and project manage communication activities that are aligned with Treasury's corporate direction and government policy.
- Lead the implementation of Social Media strategies and activities to educate stakeholders and the broader community about the department's role in shaping the State's economy and finances,
- Contribute to the development of online materials, media releases, speeches, and other communication collateral.
- Ensure professional awareness of the latest tools, techniques and networks available to identify new opportunities and improve multi-channel Social Media communications across the department.
- Prepare Social Media analytics, data reports and insights reflecting the department's social presence and reputation.
- Work with stakeholders to build professional relationships and ensure Strategic Communications provides effective service within the department.
- Actively engage in a team environment and being part of a positive culture.
- Great thinking - Ability to think critically, supported by superior written communication skills.
- Great with people - Highly developed engagement and communication skills, proactively building relationships, influencing and collaborating to achieve department goals.
