The successful candidate will lead the development and implementation of innovative Thermal Energy Storage systems, playing a key role in advancing their mission towards sustainable energy solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and optimisation of Thermal Energy Storage systems to meet project objectives and customer requirements.
- Conduct comprehensive research and analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities in Thermal Energy Storage Technology.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Thermal Energy Storage solutions into existing and future projects effectively.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with industry stakeholders to advance initiatives in Thermal Energy Storage.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts in the design, performance, and cost-effectiveness of Thermal Energy Storage systems.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices in the development and implementation of Thermal Energy Storage Technology.
- Lead technical discussions and presentations with internal teams, customers, and external partners.
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful execution of projects related to Thermal Energy Storage.
- Evaluate and mitigate risks associated with the implementation of Thermal Energy Storage Technology, proactively identifying solutions to overcome challenges.
- Foster a culture of safety, quality, and environmental stewardship in all activities related to Thermal Energy Storage.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in the design, development, and implementation of Thermal Energy Storage systems.
- Deep expertise in thermodynamics, heat transfer, and Energy Storage principles.
- Proficiency in engineering software and simulation tools relevant to Thermal Energy Storage systems (e.g., ANSYS, COMSOL, MATLAB).
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and disciplines.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Proven track record of successful project management and delivery in Thermal Energy Storage Technology.
