Your new role:
The role involves collaborating with corporate and local management stakeholders, as well as external service providers. In collaboration with corporate and local management stakeholders, as well as external service providers, this position will oversee engagement dynamics across all organisational levels, including senior and executive tiers. Essential qualifications include strong professional maturity, high emotional intelligence, and the ability to gauge the atmosphere effectively. Additionally, it will address aspects such as communication during future implementations, managing resistance to change, and ensuring information accessibility. This policy framework represents QCS’s inaugural formal approach to infrastructure management.”
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Create an overarching policy linked to relevant financial and management standards and frameworks.
- Align with the Financial Accountability Act 2009, Financial Management Performance Standard 2019, QCS Financial Management Practice Manual, and Queensland’s Building Policy Framework.
- Develop a framework with both quantitative and qualitative measures.
- These measures will guide asset investment prioritisation and address building security standards.
- Focus on managing operational technology related to electronic security systems and cybersecurity.
- Ensure compliance with the Queensland Government’s Information Security Policy (IS18:2018).
- Update existing workflow documents to enhance decision-making accountability.
- Specifically, address project initiation processes and project quality assurance aligned with security standards.
What you'll need to succeed:
The ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance at a level designated by the Agency on request. Able to obtain and maintain national police checks. Australian Citizenship is a condition of eligibility. Evidence of policy framework formulation experience including ability to combine research, analysis, operational outcomes, legislative knowledge and service requirements, high calibre written experience for all aspects of this role – policy, briefs, presentations, reports, progress updates, business cases – and similar
