About the Role
The purpose of the role is advance the objectives of the Portfolio Management Office (PMO), including the provision of best practice portfolio, program and project management frameworks, governance and toolsets in relation to the Metro South Digital Health Portfolio. The role will be responsible for monitoring compliance of standards, processes, methods, techniques as related to the successful delivery of digital and ICT programs, projects and solutions in an enterprise environment. The role will provide leadership and pragmatic advice and support for effective governance and reporting practices that maximises effective outcomes.
- Oversee enterprise governance activities supporting investment planning, prioritisation and value assessment.
- Lead advice and recommendations in the development of ongoing design, maintenance and oversee the continuous improvement of portfolio, program and project management methods and tools.
- Provide advice and support to projects, and conduct project and governance health checks and reviews through the application of best practice project management methodologies while promoting the application of standardised processes for effective portfolio performance monitoring, analysis and reporting.
- Establish and manage strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate greater awareness and understanding of portfolio, program and project management methods and tools.
