We are currently seeking an experienced Facilities and Property Specialist to make the move into a diverse role in a collaborative and "family-feel" team. Our client are a regulatory advisor, working on behalf of the Government.
With a portfolio of properties across QLD and Northern NSW, this role will see you building relationships with stakeholders and contractors, ensuring compliance with regulations and also taking ownership of facilities, property and fleet management duties.
Work with a Manager who genuinely looks after their team, within an organisation with great values.

- Monday - Friday, 38 hours per week

- Take ownership of fleet and property management duties
- Build relationships and manage external contractors, ensuring that stakeholders are updated on the status of work order requests, aligning expectations on capital works requests and repairs etc.
- Utilise your knowledge of facilities and safety compliance procedures to ensure that work requests do not impact obligations surrounding safety
- Adopt a hands-on approach where required - being the go-to person for general maintenance activities
- Manage a fleet of vehicles, using your expertise in this space to ensure they are compliant with regulations
- Be part of upcoming projects such as relocation plans
- Overseeing portfolio of properties across QLD and Northern NSW
- Work as part of an extremely collaborative team environment who all genuinely support each other to work towards common goals
- Work with a Manager who is very hands-on and has a genuine desire to meet common goals
- Experience in a similar role is essential
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders and contractors
- Candidates must be flexible in adopting a hands-on approach with duties such as organising power cords, basic electrical duties etc.
- Full driving licence is required due to the requirement to move vehicles around when needed
- Candidates must be able to pass a full police check
- Construction white card and some knowledge in the construction sector would be beneficial
- Experience in Government, a Regulatory Industry or similar would be beneficial
