Digital Metro North (DMN) works collaboratively with Metro North Health (MNH) clinical leads and end users to deliver the digital transformation strategy for Metro North Health. It will ultimately create an integrated digital hospital and healthcare environment across Metro North. In meeting this strategy significant capital works are being undertaken over the next five years that includes hospital construction/refurbishment and the implementation of ieMR Advanced solution across Metro North. Delivering this will require a dedicated team, with the capacity to work across initiatives and domains, with the knowledge, determination, skills and experience to deliver.
About the role
Together with the requirements of the role description, our ideal candidate will have the ability to:
- Participate in the planning, design, and implementation of technical service delivery for new and upgraded DMN infrastructure and platforms, ensuring alignment with best practice Information and Communications Technology (ICT) service management and delivery frameworks.
- Provide an advanced level of technical expertise and skills in relation to complex system administration aspects of operating systems, data protection, and data security, in order to maintain the availability of DMN ICT systems and services.
- Provide an advanced level, responsive support service for DMN platforms, systems, and applications to Metro North Health customers through detailed analysis, diagnosis and remediation of system faults and failures to ensure service levels and quality standards are maintained.
Note: This role may participate in the DMN Digital Services on-call arrangements, to provide 24x7 support for MNH critical digital systems.
Key knowledge and experience
The ideal applicant will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Advanced level of technical knowledge and skill, or the ability to quickly acquire technical knowledge and skills in the support and maintenance of relevant technical domains, as listed in the attached Role Description.
- High level of competency in the support of digital and ICT infrastructure and platforms; including the application of professional judgement in the formulation of viable technical solutions and a high degree of technical problem resolution skills.
- Ability to follow ITIL processes (primarily incident / problem / change, knowledge and configuration management) in a complex digital environment.
