About our Opportunity
We currently have an opportunity for a Process Coordinator to join our state-of-the-art powder coating facility at Girraween. In this role you will play a key part in ensuring that aluminium sheeting is powder coated to the required specifications and timeframes so that it can be distributed to our nationwide facilities to be made into window frames.
Working as part of a broader team of 18, your overall responsibilities will include meeting production outputs, managing the quality of incoming and outgoing materials, and process management.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Maintain and practice business Safety culture
- Identify and participate in CI activities with team
- Create and maintain SOPs and process documents
- Analyse profiles, Colour and Stock usage
- Identify, review and escalate any NCR (Quality) issues
- Ensure compliance in all aspects of the Powderline processes
- Participate in daily team meeting
- Review daily production report.
- Actively involve manufacturing process
- Process/production related application testing and troubleshooting.
About You
We are looking for someone who is keen to commence or progress their career in manufacturing. You will need to have an engineering or similar technical diploma, and the desire to learn and take advantage of the mentoring you’ll receive from the experienced and supportive manager.
You will also have:
- Knowledge/ understanding of variances in Product in a manufacturing environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work both on your own and as part of a team
- Sound knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel)
- Ability to interpret technical drawings (Inhouse training provided if required)
- AutoCAD and basic networking knowledge (beneficial but not essential)
- SAP knowledge (beneficial but not essential)
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to commit to Monday – Friday, 6.00am – 2.30pm working hours.
