About the role:
Senior business process analyst Reporting into the Business Improvement Manager, The Senior business process analyst plays a crucial role in establishing and maintaining a robust Process Documentation and Maintenance regime to ensure a consistent and positive experience for staff and customers within our organization's support centre. This role is integral to streamlining business support functions, enhancing operational efficiency, and driving continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain a standardized Process Documentation framework including process hierarchy for support centre functions.
Create detailed process maps, workflows, and level 4 & 5 processes to serve as reference documents for staff.
Ensure that processes capture relevant regulations and industry standards for compliance.
Continuously evaluate existing processes to identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency improvement.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and eliminate bottlenecks.
Implement best practices and industry standards to enhance the quality and effectiveness of support centre operations.
Drive a proactive approach to identify and address process-related challenges.
Establish a robust process maintenance regime, including regular reviews, updates, and version control for Process Documentation.
Definition, capture and delivery of requirements to support the enhancement of systems required for service delivery
Ensure that all stakeholders are informed of and adhere to the maintenance schedule.
Monitor changes in the organization, industry regulations, and customer needs to adapt processes accordingly.
Develop and implement quality assurance procedures to guarantee the accuracy and consistency of Process Documentation.
Conduct audits and reviews to verify that processes align with actual operational procedures.
Work with team leaders to address discrepancies and non-compliance issues promptly.
Analyse process-related data to identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement.
Support the development of dashboards for the General Manager and department heads, offering insights and recommendations based on SLAs and KPIs.
Key Skills
Proven capabilities in workshop management and process mapping
Development of process hierarchies and documenting processes
Stakeholder management and collaboration
Problem solving and utilisation of data to drive improvement processes.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Process mapping and/or business process reengineering and management
Experience with process mapping tools, managing operational processes and data analysis
3+ years experience in process improvement, management or process reengineering
