We are seekinga highly skilled and experienced full-time Product Development Manager (MetalFabricator) with expertise in die and tool making for steel forming, bending,and 3D analysis. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record inmanaging Product Development processes, a strong background in CNC CAD CAM, anda passion for driving excellence in manufacturing.
The salaryoffered is $90,000 per annum plus superannuation.
Job duties and responsibilities include:
1. Die and Tool Making Leadership:
- Leadthe design, development, and optimization of dies and tools for steel formingand bending processes.
- Utilize3D analysis tools to assess and enhance the performance of jigs, dies andtools.
2. Product Development
- Overseethe end-to-end Product Development lifecycle, from concept to production.
- Collaboratewith cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and manufacturing,to ensure seamless integration of jigs and tool designs into the overallProduct Development process.
3. CNC CAD CAM Expertise:
- Leverageadvanced CNC CAD CAM techniques for efficient and precise manufacturingprocesses.
- Providetechnical guidance and support to the team in the implementation of CNCtechnologies
4. Quality Assurance:
- Implementand maintain rigorous quality control measures for die and tool manufacturingprocesses.
- Conductregular inspections and assessments to ensure adherence to industry standardsand specifications.
5. Project Management:
- Develop and manage project timelines, ensuringmilestones are met and projects stay on schedule.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identifypotential risks and implement mitigation strategies.
6. Continuous Improvement:
- Drivecontinuous improvement initiatives within the die and tool making processes.
- Stayabreast of industry trends and technological advancements to enhance product development practices
The applicant will have the following qualifications,skills and experience:
- Bachelor's or technical degree in MechanicalEngineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Experience in die and tool making for steel formingand bending processes.
- Proficiency in 3D analysis tools and experience withCNC CAD CAM systems.
- Proven track record of successfully managing productdevelopment projects from conception to production.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
