Role Summary:The advertised position is a Senior-level role, with a mandate as 2IC within the Product Marketing & Partnerships Team. Our ideal candidate is optimistic and energetic, has incredibly strong attention to detail and organizational skills along with the drive to tackle issues and process failures head-on to devise the best possible outcomes for customers & sales agents. The Product Manager is responsible for the smooth operation and marketing of a portfolio of products, including customer onboarding journeys (collaboratively managed by ACN Pacific and our partners), correct promotion of products, features, and promotions as well as leading management of any changes affecting sales channels, customers, or back-office processes. Some of our past and present partners include Telstra, Vodafone, Optus, amaysim, Mate mobile & broadband, Energy Australia, AGL, Sumo Energy, Alinta Energy as well as Honey Insurance, and a range of others.
Core Responsibilities:
  • Providing expertise and guidance on various marketing components, including product mix, pricing strategies, and advertising tactics. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effectiveness across all marketing efforts.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to provide informed recommendations on product launches and predict future consumer trends by analyzing data regarding consumer patterns and preferences
  • Develop an expert understanding of portfolio insights and metrics and perform regular weekly, monthly, and quarterly analyses to identify opportunities and issues across revenue & costs by means of market research.
  • Support business growth and development through the preparation and execution of marketing objectives, policies, and programs to support weaker sales channels and amplify the performance of top-selling channels.
  • Regularly interface with key Sales channel leaders and agents to ensure both Agent and Customer experience remains best in class and research potential demand and market characteristics for new services.
  • Planning, developing, and organizing Go To Market Campaigns for new products and partner launches for to support sales objectives.
  • Offer insights and recommendations on advertising strategies and campaigns to reach target markets, creating consumer awareness and effectively promoting the attributes of goods and services.
  • Identify new revenue opportunities throughout the product lifecycle including the promotion of value-added services to drive additional incremental revenue.
  • Conceive and brief in marketing requirements for Sales Training and Product Marketing material in support of customer acquisition and retention activity.

Preferred Knowledge, Experience & Skills
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to present comfortably to internal and external senior management.
  • Energetic, highly motivated, self-managing, and results-oriented.
  • Flexibility to adjust to changes in priorities and business direction.
  • Analytical ability to interpret insights and translate issues into solutions and proposals.
  • Strong multitasking ability and prioritization skills
  • Experience in a product management or marketing role.
  • Energy Industry, Telecommunications, or Consumer Insurance experience.
  • Relevant degree(s) or relevant experience in a Business, Commercial, or Product Marketing discipline.
