Position:

About you and the role:

As an experienced Product Manager, you will be a driving force behind our product development efforts on the Descartes Customer Engagement Platform, an advanced automated notifications platform that connects businesses with customers to inform and empower them with information and features to make the ‘last mile’ of logistics a seamless success.
You will work with a close-knit home Product Team as well as other passionate teams across the world, steering product initiatives from concept to launch and beyond for high profile, well-known clients.
Relentless user-focused and passionate about informed, data driven decisions, you not only live the difference between output and outcome, but you also clearly articulate the core value proposition and bring everyone on the journey with you to deliver it.
In doing so, you will lead the discovery and definition of initiatives, shape and incept them with Development teams, review and manage release progress, and work with stakeholders to deliver value into the hands of delighted customers.

Your key responsibilities:

•    Champion and improve the product development process, ensuring work follows repeatable methodologies that results in the right features being built for the right audiences at the right time.

•    Communicate the value and usage of existing and newly released platform features, coordinating the creation of training materials, workshops sessions, multimedia recordings, and any other effective methods, to ensure stakeholders know how to sell, use and implement them.

•    Assist with communicating progress on initiatives, releases, and features to stakeholder groups.

Product and market research and analysis

•    Dive deep into market trends, customer behaviors, and industry insights to identify opportunities for product innovation and growth.

•    Conduct thorough market research, including competitor analysis and customer surveys, to understand our position in the market and areas for improvement.

•    Gather and analyse data from various sources, such as sales reports, customer feedback, and product usage metrics, to inform product enhancement decisions and strategy.

Be a champion of data-driven value

•    Lead efforts to establish a culture of data-driven decision-making, advocating for the use of quantitative and qualitative data to drive product strategy and prioritise initiatives.

•    Identify and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics relevant to our product goals, ensuring that we have the necessary data infrastructure in place to track and measure success.

•    Regularly analyse data insights and trends to uncover opportunities for optimisation and improvement, providing actionable recommendations to drive product enhancements and maximise value for our customers.

Qualifications:
