As a company, they are always looking to innovate and bring new products to market based on consumer and industry needs, as well as branch into new business areas. Their products are sold through mass-retail, specialist and direct to consumer channels and they have been established in the Australian market for 20 years.
About The Role
The newly created Product Manager role will sit within the expanding product team, working closely between sales and marketing. As part of the expanding Product operations team, this role will support sales and operations teams to introduce new products to market and utilise data to feedback to head office on product specifications and needs of the market. The Product Manager will play a key part in forecasting based on retailer demand, as well as recommending skus for promotions based on availability and broader data.
About You
To be considered for this role, you must be highly analytical, and numbers driven, with the ability to read sales reports and understand forecasting. You must be resilient and able to work with highly passionate salespeople, working on competing demands and be a strong problem solver. This role is ideal for an Assistant Product Manager looking to take a step up with the ability to work independently and made suggestions to improve and optimise processes. Experience in consumer electronics will be highly regarded, otherwise FMCG or consumer goods experience is essential.
