About the role
Due to growth within the commercial portfolio, we are seeking an experienced product manager to join the team. You will lead, manage, and support a dedicated squad as a part of the agile ways of working. This hands-on role will drive a major business led tech program to digitally transform how we collaborate and win together with our supplier partners in future through the development and implementation of a new Supplier Portal. You will also:
• Manage the end-to-end execution of product initiatives from discovery to delivery
• Become the point of contact for the business unit category teams and digital teams in regard to enhancements to the product
• Support the development of business cases to seek CAPEX expenditure towards product road map build
• Effectively manage cross functional projects streams and resources to contribute to the product delivery
• Partner with stakeholders to develop and deliver strategic product plans to drive growth in the portfolio
• Be customer led and champion the voice of the customer to help shape the product requirements through to delivery
About you and your skills
This role will enable you to leverage your proven experience in the Product Management space, this role will provide the ability to have genuine impact. As part of a large, nationally recognised retail business there are varied avenues for success!
You will also need:
- Demonstrated success of effective leadership in an Agile working environment
- Developed experience and knowledge of Human Centred design, Lean startup and Customer Led product development practices
- Proven experience in Product Management & Product Ownership in an AGILE environment
- Strong business acumen and technology; leveraging these skillsets to think outside the box and get the job done
- Experience setting and presenting the product vision, taking the team along for the journey and obtaining organisational buy-in
- Experience in customer research and translating customer insight into shippable increments of value
- Strategic proven business experience with hands on implementation success
- Developed product management experience with a strong understanding of Agile product lifecycle management
- Previous experience driving strategy, design, and an understanding of profitability levers
- Proven relationship management experience from an internal and external perspective
- Ability to effectively manage, lead and develop an Agile team
