The role
As a Product Owner, you play a crucial role in bringing the vision to life and creating Australia’s most loved digital home loan. Your expertise in web design and development will help supercharge Unloan’s customer experiences from their very first touchpoint. You will execute on the strategic roadmap with the support of a squad including engineers and designers. This includes optimisting the existing website as well as creating new pages and content to drive better engagement and conversion.
Success in this role means you will be accountable for Unloan’s website and end to end experiences, and your expertise in owning and building digital customer experiences will be key to Unloan customers.
Day to day you will lead the planning and delivery of digital experiences for Unloan visitors on the website, and helping them navigate our website, from initial visit to engaging with our features & tools to drive applications.
Some of the responsibilities include:
- Lead the creation of website content and features to continually improve the website user experience to support Unloan’s mission of becoming the most loved digital home loan in Australia.
- Use an insight-led approach to manage the ongoing measurement and optimisation process of the website, including the implementation of new data points, optimisation of pages and measurement of uplift.
- Execute the product roadmap for the website in partnership with business stakeholders, identifying the business’s biggest problems to solve and how we can maximise delivery of business value.
- Support prioritisation and explore strategies to successfully achieve business outcomes.
- Work with the product and development team to ensure the product backlog is defined, prioritised and balanced.
- Communicate effectively throughout the planning, development, and release of our features with key stakeholders internally and externally.
- Drive and caretake all facets of exploration, development and release, including ensuring all required approvals are attained in a timely manner in a fast-paced, start up environment.
- Accountable for addressing impediments, driving decisions, and resolving escalations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any day-to-day queries that may arise, collaborating with other product managers and owners to ensure the right solution and experience is in place for our customers.
- You’re customer obsessed, and enjoy problem solving, making hard trade-off decisions that best deliver for customer value.
- You will be comfortable with uncertainty, and taking on big challenges that push you outside of your comfort zone.
- You will be curious and open to learning new things, and taking accountability for finding solutions to challenging, ambiguous problems.
- You enjoy getting into the numbers, analysing data to understand what’s performing and how we can better optimise the end to end experience for customers to deliver on business outcomes.
- You will be confident to contribute your views, effectively communicating with and influencing a range of stakeholders.
- You have high integrity and a strong ethical approach to achieving the right outcomes.
- You are excited to push the envelope and end to end experience for our customers, and experience in banking & financial experiences is preferred.
- You’re an expert user of Google Analytics and can rally your stakeholders around key insights to help further drive engagement and conversion.
- You have experience with Webflow, having previously worked with the platform and implemented changes in platform.
- You have experience with driving change, ideally relating to co-ordinating the implementation of solutions to issues across broad, complex areas.
- You have experience in digital-first businesses, using data to optimise experiences to better deliver on business outcomes.
- You have excellent communication and collaboration skills and will be able to deliver succinct communication and training to our operations staff where needed.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects/streams at the same time.
