We are currently seeking a Planner/Produce Buyer to join our Bibra Lake team in Perth on full time basis. Reporting directly to the Planning Manager, playing a key role in the Supply team, you will be responsible for the planning of daily production and raw material purchasing functions. This role works a daily roster across 5 days, with occasional weekend coverage for leave.

About the role
We are currently seeking a Planner/Produce Buyer to join our Bibra Lake team in Perth on full time basis. Reporting directly to the Planning Manager, playing a key role in the Supply team, you will be responsible for the planning of daily production and raw material purchasing functions. This role works a daily roster across 5 days, with occasional weekend coverage for leave.
Key Responsibilities
- Creating daily production schedules which meet customer requirements and maximise production efficiency.
- Manage plans to minimize excess stock providing timely notification regarding excess clearance.
- Maintenance of site planning/buying systems and documents
- Facilitation of daily plan sign-off meeting
- Communication of production adjustments to relevant stakeholders
- Creating a schedule of replenishment that best meets planned requirements and generating purchase orders to suppliers.
- Booking freight (Inbound) accordingly where required
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve service to our facilities, reduce held inventories and control cost.
- Ensure that all purchase orders are correctly priced and accurately produced.
- Providing accurate & timely notification to suppliers on non-conforming deliveries
- With your relevant experience, preferably within an FMCG environment, you understand that a sense of urgency and attention to detail is critical in a role like this.

- Demonstrated ability in inventory management.
- Proficient knowledge of an MRP system
- Excellent problem solving, negotiation and team work skills.
- Self-motivated and determination to succeed.
- High level of attention to detail and follow through.
- High level of effective listening and communication skills.
- Flexibility of availability to ensure tasks are completed daily.
