The Role
A great opportunity for an experienced Production Supervisor to join our operational team as a team leader on the Afternoon Shift from 2:00pm – 10:00pm at our Braeside facility. In this role you will lead the production team, you will play a key role in overseeing our team's operation in order to maintain our exceptional product standards and continued smooth running of our production line. You will also ensure company quality standards are met and support corrective action is taken when needed.
The Tasks
- Supervise daily bakery operations, including mixing and baking processes.
- To improve the culture and focus on team development.
- To provide strong, hands-on leadership, especially around people and culture, open communication channels and cross training.
- Meet targets in a dynamic and fast moving business.
- Ensure compliance with required Quality, GMP, HACCP, Hygiene and Food Safety policies
- Focus on WHS focusing on LTI and Incident frequency reduction year on year
The Successful Candidate
- Proven experience in the food manufacturing industry in a supervisory capacity.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Have a baker background (desirable).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as good numerical ability.
- Strong planning and organisational skills.
