About the Role
Grampians Health Ballarat is seeking an Allied HealthProgram Assistant to join our team in a permanent part time capacity, 4 days a week.
As a Program Assistant with us you have opportunity to support community members along their Allied Healthcare journey by providing first class customer service for our clientele and dedicated administration support to our clinical teams. You will be part of a small friendly team of “PA’s”, working collaboratively to achieve our goals.
The role offers variety, including “front of house” reception duties for our Allied Health programs at the Ballarat Base Hospital and Queen Elizabeth Centre (QEC), operation of the QEC switchboard, as well as work behind the scenes supporting departments with waitlist management, data entry, and other day-to-day tasks.
Skills and experience
A Program Assistant who joins our team will:
- be an excellent communicator, committed to providing customer service at the highest standard. This includes the ability to identify and solve problems constructively, listen, and relay information.
- thrive in a fast-paced work environment, have good judgement, and be able to adapt with competing demands.
Previous experience in administration or customer service in a health environment will also be highly regarded.
