ABOUT THE ROLE
The Program Coordinator for Pacific Labour Scheme & Labour Hire is part of Jobs Australia Enterprises Ltd which is fast-growing and strives to make a positive impact on the lives of many people in our local, national and international communities.
Program Coordinator is an exciting full-time position, incorporating extensive travel within the region and work from home.
Our Program Coordinator will support workers from Pacific Island countries to have gainful employment for set periods of time throughout the year. It is a demand driven program that contributes to the economic development of the workers’ home countries as well as regional Australia
We need a self-motivated, highly organised individual to undertake extensive duties such as: arrivals and departures, inductions, weekly meetings and ensuring the well-being of our workers by providing pastoral care and associated administrative duties on an ongoing basis.
It requires work flexibility to undertake some duties outside of normal business hours.
This position will also involve direct marketing of our business and working with employers and employees to provide professional recruitment and on-hire services to local business.
ABOUT YOU
- Adaptability and flexibility are a must!
- Demonstrated experience in a highly autonomous role whilst being able to report back as required.
- Unencumbered driver’s licence and/ or a Light Rigid driver's licence or the willingness to obtain.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly when dealing with growers and seasonal workers where English is their second language.
- High level of computer literacy especially in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of program.
- A proven ability or the capacity, along with a strong desire, to successfully promote/market business concepts and products through face to face contact, to increase the client base and generate business opportunities across a wide range of industries.
- Ability to work independently, use initiative, and operate under pressure in a professional, geographically diverse and dynamic team with a strong focus on high quality customer service.
- Have strong networking skills to build a cooperative and informed employer network to increase employment opportunities for clients.
- A proven ability or the capacity to maintain accurate and concise records.
