AddressPublic sector specialists Osborne Richardson working with our State Government clients based in Townsville, are looking for an experienced Program Engagement Officer AO4 on an initial contract running through to December 2026.
About the Role:
Our State Government client is seeking an AO4 Program Engagement Officer to join their Customer and Stakeholder Management (CSM) team. This role is vital in bridging the gap in specialised resources necessary for community engagement and communication services for the department's ongoing and upcoming projects. The successful candidate will focus on fostering robust relationships with external stakeholders impacted by current projects and implementing strategies to ensure effective engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and sustain strong relationships with external stakeholders, particularly those impacted by projects.
- Web Development: Update and maintain project web pages, including the project page, and provide analytic reports and updates as needed.
- Social Pinpoint: Develop and manage Social Pinpoint web pages to facilitate community engagement and feedback.
- Communication Materials: Create proactive communication materials such as media statements, flyers, construction updates, and newsletters.
- Issue Resolution: Address low-level stakeholder issues and concerns promptly and effectively.
- Correspondence Management: Manage the correspondence tracker to ensure timely responses to stakeholder inquiries.
- Data Management: Source stakeholder contact details and lot number information, and enter them into spreadsheets and consultation manager.
About You:
To succeed in this role, you will need to have a proactive approach to stakeholder engagement, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Experience in web development and managing online engagement platforms like Social Pinpoint is essential.
