The Grants and Contract Management Division is responsible for the delivery of grants programs through the full grant life cycle, including grant program development and implementation, assessment, contract negotiation and management, performance and milestone reporting, as well as the general administration of grants. The Division also provides commercial services and advice including due diligence and economic assessment. We also administer grant agreements for other programs and continue to build grant capability across the Department.

As Program Manager you will:
- Provide advice on appropriate grants management practices and initiatives that support grant program uplift such as education programs and technology while operating within resource and budget constraints.
- Set up a project management system to support, monitor, evaluate and report on projects. Utilise digital technology to create a visual project dashboard to track and report on project progress and identify emerging issues including potential delays.
- Develop and maintain a cross organisational focus on the effective delivery of budget management and human resource management to support the Executive Director.
- Communicate and negotiate with stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
- Prepare timely, quality, complex, well researched and thorough documents including program and project assessments, policy papers, briefs, reports and
- Work collaboratively with your peers, senior management, other teams, regional staff, and stakeholders to ensure project outcomes support the strategic direction of the division.
- Represent the department at meetings, conferences, high level forums and committees and undertake negotiations with external stakeholders.
- Perform other tasks as required by the Executive Director and team members.
