About the role
As a Program Officer, you will work as part of a team, in a positive and enjoyable environment, planning and delivering outdoor sport and recreation programs to school, community and sporting clients.

- This role is rostered over 7 days including weeknights and weekends as required.
- Programs are run all year round, including weekend and school holiday periods. Some programs are residential, there will be times where Program Officers may be required to reside overnight.
- Designing and facilitating outdoor Sport and Recreation programs that challenge clients in a range of activities and experiences.
- Programs will assist in developing leadership and physical skills, along with building friendships and resilience.
About You
- You will have an outgoing personality with an ability to deliver high level customer service to a diverse range of clients
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Plan and deliver outdoor sport and recreation programs tailored to client group
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues and clients to deliver program components
Essential Requirements
- Tertiary Qualification or Certificate IV in Outdoor Recreation/Leadership (or equivalent) and relevant industry experience
- Be willing to undertake on-call responsibilities on a rostered basis during residential program
- First Aid Certificate
- The successful applicant will be subject to a National Criminal Records Check
- Valid Working with Children Check (WWCC)
