About the role
Job Title: Program Officer
Location: Sydney CBD/Parramatta/Remote
Contract Duration: 6 months with potential extension
Salary: $56 per hour + Super
Key Responsibilities:
- Producing documentation of standard business practices in a variety of formats: procedures, process maps/flowcharts
- Using various tools including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Visio
- Drafting, proof-reading, and redrafting documentation from scratch, or drafts at various stages of progress submitted by other teams
- Reviewing existing documentation, and from workshops, meetings, and interviews with key staff, facilitated by the Senior Project Officer or the worker
- Being able to identify potential shortcomings or opportunities for improvement in current and proposed business processes
Skills:
- Being able to use Styles in Microsoft Word to format and structure documentation according to the established template and departmental style guide
- Ability to write accurate, Plain English instructions in procedure documents and descriptions of processes in process maps using the information collected
- Ability to multitask and handle multiple enquiries
- Previous experience in grants, documentation writing
