The Program
Fire to Flourish is a transdisciplinary action-research program that partners with bushfire-affected communities to develop and implement a community-led model for strengthening bushfire resilience and disrupting structural disadvantage. The program brings together researchers from social sciences, business, medicine and urban design disciplines, as well as practice-based social impact practitioners, across Australia. The program team works closely with local communities for the program design and delivery, and also partners with institutional stakeholders to increase adoption of program insights and outputs and drive widespread change.
The Opportunity
Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for efficient operations? Look no further! Our dynamic team is seeking a Project Administration Officer to play a pivotal role in our groundbreaking Fire to Flourish program.
As a Project Administration Officer with a broad range of professional and high-quality administrative skills you will provide key services to support the effective operation of the transdisciplinary Fire to Flourish program and its Executive Leadership team.
This includes implementing and undertaking a range of effective administrative tasks through:
Assisting with program meetings and events
Preparation of agendas, papers, minutes and correspondence
The input and analysis of data
Organising travel, project purchasing, expenditure review and payment of invoices
Maintaining excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
The Project Administration Officer also provides administrative support for projects and programs with a focus on excellence in process and judgment, provision of sound and timely advice, and support the Executive Leadership team, program staff and other stakeholders.
Your success in this role will require your:
Excellent administration skills
Experience supporting executive calendar management
Experience with financial administration
Highly developed organisational skill
Commitment to excellence in customer service
Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
