Project Administrator

An award winning and dynamic architecture practice with a global presence is seeking an experienced Project Administrator to join their Sydney team.

You will be assisting project managers and architects in the administration and coordination of projects. The successful candidate will be task-oriented, methodical, and possess strong attention to detail. 

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager and Project Lead in coordinating the day to day operations of projects
• Efficiently support the management of large-scale and complex construction projects
• Monitor project processes against the timeline and facilitate the smooth running of the program
• Manage schedules, fees, scope changes, resourcing, subcontractor management and contractual updates
• Coordinate meetings and communications with project stakeholders
• Accurately maintain project files and records

Skills and experience

• Previous experience in a similar role within Architecture, Construction or Engineering sectors
• Excellent verbal and written communication and stakeholder management skills
• Sound understanding of contract management, scope changes, ability to assist with reporting on commercial and financial position
• Understanding of and ability to assist with probity requirements, resourcing and financing of projects
• Understanding of Quality and Document Control
• Architecture and/or Project Management qualifications desirable
• Proficiency in MS Office, InDesign, Project
