The Role
The Project Administrator will be responsible for the administration requirements in the delivery of NG/E’s solar projects. The position will be serving as a key member of the administration team whom contributes to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that will help in the delivery of our projects. This position will also interact with suppliers, sub-contractors, and customers. The Project Administrator will be responsible for:
- Assisting the Project Team with all administration facets of delivery, planning and completion of projects;
- Assisting in the development of project documents;
- Manage and have a good understanding of key contractual requirements;
- Attend project meetings with the Project Management team and the client;
- Compilation of Operations and Maintenance Manuals;
- Work with the Project Team to produce cashflow budgets;
- Raise purchase orders, good receipt items and assist with invoicing;
- Generating and issuing subcontractor agreements;
- Onboarding contractors
Skills & Experience
The role will ideally suit an experienced Project Administrator with a positive can-do attitude. The successful candidate will be able to problem solve, have a proactive work ethic coupled with the following qualifications, experience and attributes:
- Qualification in Project Administration or Business Administration desirable;
- One years’ experience in a similar role desirable;
- Experience developing project plans (HSE, Construction, and project deliverables);
- Understanding of basic contract principles;
- Experience with cash flow and milestone/cost forecasting;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills;
- Experience in accounts payable, invoice, and receipting desirable;
- Understanding of basic HSE principles;
