Project Administrator
About the role
Transco International is looking for a qualified and experienced Project Administrator based in its Melbourne Head Quarters in Dandenong South to develop, manage and grow its projects across its three business lines and to expand into other related business areas.
Job Responsibilities
- Handling most projects related to imports, exports, sea and air freight shipments, custom clearance, warehousing, and third-party logistics (3PL).
- Negotiating rates and developing new projects relating to overseas business partners
- Monitoring and tracking progress and changes to the projects as required.
- Finalizing quotations and responding to customer inquiries relating to logistic services
- Maintaining job files and documents relating to all ongoing projects and businesses.
- Attending to various meetings conferences, client meetings and trainings later changed to zoom and non-face to face during periods as per clients.
- Communicating with procurement managers, supply chain departments, project development managers and owners to finalize the tenders and quotations.
- Reviewing and arranging office accommodation.
- Engaging with management to resolve and improve the productivity of new businesses projects.
- Submitting the relevant documents regarding the projects and communicate variations with the management.
- Tracking all data relating to past projects, ongoing projects, completed jobs undertaken and present them to the management with the outcome.
- Completing the given jobs and deliver them to the final customers within the given time frame.

Qualifications and Experience
- Australian Qualified Advanced Diploma or equivalent in Project Administration.
- Minimum 2-year experience in project administration in a logistics company.
- Experience of dealing in Asian & South Asian markets will be an advantage.
- Corporate presentation and communication skills
- Positive and determined attitude.
