We are thrilled to be partnering with a local family-owned and operated business located in Melbourne's South Eastern suburbs - 3801. Specialising in residential construction for over 15 years, our client is seeking to partner with a passionate, efficient and experienced Project Coordinator to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.
Your new role
Your duties and responsibilities include, though not limited to
- Monday to Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm (Or 8:30am - 4:30pm)
- Manage calls from the mainline (low volume, approx. 10 calls)
- Manage pre-site and on-site portfolio of clients
- Preparation of drawings, developer approvals and other relevant information is required for contract stage purposes.
- Apply & Coordinate files through building permit and water authority end to end : Preparation of permit documents where required
- Preparation of tender documentation
- Conduct colour selections when required in a consultative, personable yet professional manner.
- Follow up on clarification of any variations, final plans, colour selection and any other required information
- Triage warranty : collection of photographs, incidents/issues. Initially, assess whether the claim is valid
- General administration, data entry and filing relevant to the efficiency and continuity of the business/position
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, we recommend you to possess the following skills and attributes
- Previous experience working in a pre-site administration, project coordination or contract administration role within the building and construction industry
- Ability to confidentially navigate between systems
- Familiar viewing drafts, plans with experience managing permit application processes
- Adaptable and passionate work ethic
- Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of your position
- Strong team player and out of the box thinker
- Experience in a similar role is highly desired.
