Scope of the role:
SKS Technologies is a public company listed on the ASX and is a leading technology company specialising in electrical, communications, audio visual and smartbuilding technology solutions based in all states and territories around Australia (Except Tas). We are a culturally diverse and safe company seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Project & Services Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative and support directly to our electrical projects management team and liaise with our wider project and administration team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist project managers in planning, organising, and executing electrical, data/communications, audio-visual projects & service jobs.
- Coordinate project & service activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and budget management.
- Prepare and maintain job documentation, including raising jobs, progress reports, and client reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure job deliverables are met within the defined timelines.
- Assist in the preparation of technical specifications, drawings, and other project-related documentation.
- Provide administrative support for daily tasks for Project Managers.
- Complete job invoicing tasks
- Assist in the coordination of project procurement activities, including vendor selection, obtaining multiple prices from suppliers, managing delivery time frames and contract management.
- Monitor service job progress and identify potential risks or issues, proposing appropriate mitigation strategies, update client portals
- Generation of project SWMS’s and other project safety documentation
- Taking phone calls and handling customer enquiries
Skill Requirements:
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. The role will also include assisting the Audio Visual teams in a similar role when required
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Proven experience in project administration or support roles within the contracting industry is not a necessity but is preferred
