We currently employ 50 team members cross QLD and Victoria. As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a talented Project Administrator to join our team and support our Project Engineers in delivering exceptional telecommunications projects.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organised individual to fill the role of Project Administrator. In this position, you will play a vital role in supporting our Project Engineers throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring smooth operations and timely project delivery. You will be responsible for administrative tasks, documentation management, and providing general assistance to the project team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Project Engineers in coordinating project activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and task tracking
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, proposals, and technical specifications.
- Facilitate communication between internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
- Prepare and distribute project status reports, meeting minutes, and other relevant documentation.
- Support procurement activities by preparing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and managing vendor relationships.
- Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and subcontractors to obtain costs and availability
- Prepares tender bid proposal and quotations
- Review and action tender documents – construction drawings, specifications, project programme, scope of works, and subcontract documents
- Creating and tracking variations and preparing/ forwarding variation/ credit proposals where changes and amendments are identified.
- Assist in the preparation of project budgets and financial reports.
- Perform other administrative tasks and duties as assigned by the project team.
Qualifications:
- Project Management qualification
- Proven experience in a project administration or similar role, preferably in the telecommunications industry.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SIMPRO.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Knowledge of telecommunications industry standards and regulations is a plus.
