The WA Project Management (PM) group is involved in supporting our clients in the planning and delivery of significant facilities and infrastructure projects in Australia. Our core business is to provide Project Management, Design Management and Contract Administration services. We manage the planning and delivery of major capital works projects that include national projects for the Department of Defence and infrastructure projects in the Indian Ocean Territories for both Defence and the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications and the Arts.
In addition, we provide support to the wider GHD network to deliver landmark infrastructure and property and buildings projects.
Working within our experienced Project Management Team, this position offers a great variety of projects and will see you involved in and assisting with:
- Design management and Project Management and Contract Administration (PMCA) of a range of complex industrial and commercial building and infrastructure projects or programs
- Liaising with and support of relevant stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Building client relationships and conducting business development activities, including preparation of proposals
What you will bring to the team
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and a passion for delivering clients positive outcomes
- Understanding of project governance structures, planning and development workflows, construction methodologies and risk management
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ideally 2-5 years' experience delivering PMCA (or Assistant PMCA) services for infrastructure projects for Defence or other Government agencies
- Industrial and commercial building and infrastructure projects or programs experience is highly desirable.
