About the OPPORTUNITY
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Coordinator to join our Battlespace Integrated Solutions program based at Edinburgh Parks, SA.
Reporting to the Systems IPT Lead, this role will be responsible for supporting the Project and Deputy Project Manager with monthly reporting requirements, coordination of team meetings and conduct of risk reviews to allow for the successful delivery of key project milestones.
We embrace flexible work arrangements at BAE Systems Australia, such as working a 9-day fortnight and hybrid working.
Key responsibilities include:
- Working closely with the wider team to develop monthly reports including summarised progress, schedule, Earned Value Management (EVM) and EAC (Estimated Actual Completion) updates.
- Regular stakeholder engagements with business stakeholders as projects require
- Assisting with co-ordinating project meetings and capturing key outcomes and actions in minutes
- Assisting with schedule progress updates in collaboration with project managers, schedulers and planners
- Assisting with the development of project reporting
- Assisting with co-ordination of project Life Cycle Management governance requirements
About YOU
- Qualification in Project Management (advantageous but not essential)
- Previous experience in a similar role (desirable)
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills in order to work in a strong customer orientated environment.
- Well-developed self-management skills and demonstrated ability to work under own initiative to deliver outputs to time, quality and cost
- An ability to balance conflicting priorities to deliver against customer and business requirements, with appropriate stakeholder management.
- Experience across Microsoft office suite of programs
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- A commitment to continuous learning and adaptation in the field
- NV1 security clearance or eligibility to obtain
