The Project Coordinatorholds a key role in our Assets and Generation team who are responsible for the construction, operation and asset management of new and existing power projects. The Project Coordinator will provide a full range of high level project support services for our project delivery team supporting our growing power business across large-scale renewable (i.e. solar and wind) and firming assets (i.e. storage and gas generation) in line with our strategic priorities.
Lead the change, from the frontline
With honesty, integrity and respect, you will:
- Work with Project Managers, Engineering Professionals, Site Managers and others to ensure project goals are met;
- Assist in the AEMO registration of new and existing assets;
- Co-ordinate the operational readiness activities of new assets in the wider business, including trading, finance, compliance and asset management;
- Support the project team with documentation such as SWMS, briefs and collate all necessary documentation;
- Compile and generate project related reports; and
- Advise senior management on matters requiring attention and implement necessary actions.
Here’s what you’ll need to thrive in this role:
- Extensive experience in a project specialist support role;
- Demonstrated high levels of organisational, time management, and problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously;
- Broad knowledge of energy and market rules, regulations and players;
- Experience in sourcing, building, and managing strong industry and customer relationships;
- Good stakeholder engagement/communication skills externally and internally;
- Proven ability to cope with dynamic and changing projects;
- Crucial to the success of this role is the ability to work collaboratively across multi-functional teams and interface with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, based in various locations whilst maintaining a high work level of work ethic; and
- Tertiary qualifications in commerce, business, engineering or sciences discipline or equivalent.
