We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to make a real difference to our Development & Future Networks Delivery Team.
In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the seamless delivery of medium to large scale power infrastructure projects in a dynamic and competitive commercial landscape. Your responsibilities will include diligently applying project management principles and methodologies, closely aligning with AusNet's standards and industry best practices.

With a 3/2 Hybrid (Office/WFH) split this role is based in Southbank, Victoria with Ad-Hoc travel to site and is part of the Development & Future Networks Delivery Team.
This role will deliver real outcomes, including but not limited to:
- Manage end-to-end delivery of medium to large-scale high-risk power infrastructure projects, meeting client expectations and deadlines.
- Achieve organisational growth and delivery targets while ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and budget compliance.
- Monitor workflow, set operational goals, and develop project strategies to drive results for AusNet.
- Lead risk assessment and management, ensuring project constructability and operability.
- Provide insights into value engineering and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop stakeholder relationships and manage resources effectively for project success.
- Ensure financial management, compliance with policies, and smooth transition to operations.
- Assist the project development team with constructability, technical and procurement support associated with future projects
You don’t need to check every box; however, we are looking for a good combination of:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- Project Management certification (PMP, CPPM) preferred
- Construction white card required
- Proven project management experience in power infrastructure projects
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including advanced Excel and MS Project
- Strong communication skills, safety leadership, and ability to manage stakeholders
